AW THAT'S CUTE...Steinbeck was also a very angry and hostile kid and definitely would understand his whole deal (though he still kind of has anger issues up the wazoo), but he'd be very nice to Rin! And since Rin gardens, and Steinbeck is a big expert with plants, I imagine he might bring plants and such to his garden to help out!
