YEAH....he was brought there after being on the streets so he would have been really wary but would eventually warm up to everyone !! and yes he gardens/cleans up the monastery in exchange for being allowed to live there he would love it if Steinbeck would do that ;-; he's also a super good cook so if there was ever a time when he had vegetables he had grown he would share them w/all the monks hes a Sweet Boy
