Hello, Overjoyed! Hopefully DW will cooperate with me enough to post this!? lord almighty... Anyways! I'm Christy and I'm bringing you your future """hero""", Handsome Jack from the Borderlands series! If you're not familiar with Borderlands, the best way to describe Jack is that he's a walking shitpost that says stupid things constantly, is a godawful human being with a delusional hero complex, but is weirdly likeable and funny. So, essentially, I'm so sorry??

For Overjoyed, this is all still essentially true, but his AU has given his backstory a few tweaks, which you can read on his application in detail if you're interested! But essentially rather than working for Hyperion, Jack is instead working quite hard for the Company instead, since he has big dreams of taking them over and reforming it from the inside. Of course, this is reforming it to his twisted specifications, but, eh, who's keeping track of that. For now, he's a semi-high ranking manager of a sector in the Prisoner Intake Facility, so if your character is either a RAC agent or a criminal, they probably know of him! And since this is the beginning of the game, this also means there's plenty of opportunity to assume CR!

So while this is a general intro post on one hand, I'd also love to hash out any pre-established CR you might be interested in, since Jack has been here for the full five years, so there are plenty of chances to have run into him. If you have an idea, hit me up! I'm super open to them, since I'm all for skipping intro threads and jumping straight into CR!

Hello again!! I tend to hop into a bunch of games searching for the Right Fit, so laughs, definitely super possible... So yes, no intros necessary! ;)

And that sounds super perfect to me! Luckily Jack is in a position where a fair amount of people probably would have to deal with his obnoxious self yikes... He's actually more likely to remember Riza over other people just because she's uh. His type. I'm so sorry for him tbh

But yes I super look forward to tagging Riza!! She's such a great character and I look forward to seeing how the two of them get along. Exhaustion is a totally fair response since there's no way jack will shut up like ever

I'm about four shades away from death at the moment, but did you want to do any pre-game stuff or are you happy waiting until game open? My inbox is incredibly empty (probably for the last time this year) so I'm game for either, depending on what your schedule looks like.

I'd love to!! I was planning on putting up a little log/prompt for someone else so hell I think I might as well make an open log... Is there anything in particular you might be interested in? I'd be happy to write a custom prompt if you have an idea, but otherwise you can see if any of the prompts I might write up ping you and if not wildcard it... I'm super flexible!

Nah, feel free to write whatever strikes your fancy for your open log! I'm usually pretty good at twisting prompts to suit my needs and if none of them work, I'll figure out a wildcard for sure.
