'SUP OVERJOYED. i'm lyn, fresh meat, and i'm bringing you all one kara zor-el, aka supergirl. despite the above gif she's from the comics, not the tv show!! i just didn't have any comic panels handy on this computer laksjdf

for those of you unfamiliar with her in the comics, kara is an alien superhero who doesn't fit in anywhere and tries so hard to be likable and to not fuck up. which she does. quite a bit. it's something like a theme. but when she's not heroing it up (and, okay, sometimes when she is) kara's a snarky nerd that likes to paint and tinker with things and watch a butt load of movies.

in-game, she's a sort of superpowered mechanic ekeing out a living on westerley for the past handful of months. you can read more about her history and what she's up to in her app, but the long and short of it is she lives in a shoebox and repairs everything from roombas to rifles, segways to ships. and tries not to be the forever exasperated customer service rep while she does it.

Hello Lyn!! Welcome to overjoyed, of course, and personally, I am so excited to see kara, because I'm a huge DC fan on the downlow. It's been a while since I've actually kept up with comics because of n52, but I will always love the super family a ton... It's great to see her, since I don't see the supes corner of dc often!

Gushing aside, I'm Christy, and I'm playing Handsome Jack from Borderlands, who is, uh, awful. In short. I can't think of any pre-established cr from a quick glance, but I'm super open to it if you have ideas! And if not, then I look forward to striking out some fresh cr.

he doesn't really like westerlery but lord knows a killjoy works there a lot and also he's drawn to good people so as with any female character I offer: a) hitting on her shamelessly

but more uniquely I also offer bringing her random old tech that he acquires on his side job (more here) as a traveling scholar to see if she can do anything with it

and maybe having her be their ship mechanic? he's very attached to their ship. it likes him better than his partner. therefore it has solid programming.
